2/19/09- Bloomberg Presentation
Representatives from Bloomberg explained the functionality of the Bloomberg terminals located in the Applied Finance Lab and also talked about ways to stand out when applying for internships.
2/10/09- GE Info Session
Joe Allen (CFO of GE Aviation), and Amy Torani (Program Manager, GE Customer Education) informed students of internship opportunities available through GE's Financial Management Program.
2/2/09- Johnson & Johnson Info Session
On 2/2, the FMA, along with the Accounting and Economics Societies, sponsored its first event of the semester with the J&J Information Session. Representatives from J&J were on hand to talk to students about career opportunities and information about their co-op programs and internships for finance and accounting majors.
10/29/08- Vanguard Villanova Visit Day
Villanova students paid a visit to Vanguard's corporate campus in Malvern, PA to learn more about various opportunities available at Vanguard.

9/29/08- JP Morgan Chase Panel and Networking Reception
The International Business and Accounting Societies hosted representatives from JP Morgan Chase who spoke about IB Finance & Business Management, Treasury & Securities Services, Corporate Finance, IB Global Management Operations, and Human Resources Technology opportunities available. This was followed by a networking reception in which students were given the opportunity to further interact with the JP Morgan Chase employees.
9/25/08- 2nd Annual FMA Careers in Corporate Finance Panel and Networking Reception
The FMA hosted its second Annual Careers in Corporate Finance Panel 9/25. There were representatives on hand from Boeing, Unilever, Duff & Phelps, and Prudential to give insight on the world of corporate finance, their companies' opportunities, and to answer any questions the students had. Following the panel was the networking reception in the Bartley Atrium at 6:00. Approximately 15 companies were represented, providing an excellent opportunity for students to network and learn more about each companies' career opportunities, internships, and/or co-ops.
9/24/08- GE Info Session
On 9/24, the FMA, Economics Society, Women in Business Society, Accounting Society, and ASCEND sponsored a GE Information Session featuring three VSB grads: Tom Quindlen (President/CEO of GE Corporate Lending), Joe Allen (CFO of GE Aviation), and Amy Torani (Program Manager, GE Customer Education). Together, the three spoke of the many opportunities GE makes available to students, including the Financial Management Program, which is a 2-year rotational program for graduates, and the Financial Management Internship, which is tailored to undergraduates.
