Villanova School of Business
The Finance major is designed for those students interested in a career in domestic and international business finance, financial institutions, and investments. The curriculum also provides a solid foundation for individuals interested in pursuing post graduate study in business and law. All finance majors are required to take designated courses in Financial Management, Financial Markets, and Investments. In addition, elective courses are selected from other offerings in the Finance Department.

Two shareware programs written by finance faculty is availble for downloading. The first program is an EXCEL worksheet that can be used to evaluate automobile leases. It can compute the lease payment and also tell you the IRR of the lease so you can compare the financial cost of the lease to a car loan APR. The second program allows you to calculate loan and mortgage payments. It also computes various bond valuations.
